How Aethela collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit the site, make an enquiry, or acquire a piece.
This page tells you what data we collect and how we use it — plain language, no fine print. If anything here is unclear, write to us and we will explain.
1. What we collect
When you make a trade or commission enquiry we keep your name, email, optional phone/WhatsApp number, and the message you send.
When you acquire a piece we additionally store your shipping address, the items you ordered, the price you paid (in rupees), and the Razorpay payment identifiers.
When you browse, with your consent, we collect anonymous usage analytics. We also keep standard server logs (IP, browser, pages visited) which rotate out after 30 days.
2. Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry, fulfil and deliver your order, send you status updates, and improve the experience.
To comply with Indian tax and accounting law (we keep invoice copies for the period the law requires).
To detect fraud and prevent abuse of our forms.
3. Who we share it with
Razorpay (payment processor) — receives your name, address, and the amount when you buy.
Resend (email) — delivers our transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates) to your address.
Google Analytics and Sentry — receive anonymous usage and error-diagnostic data, and only if you grant analytics consent.
Our shipping partner — receives your address and the order reference once your piece is dispatched.
We do NOT sell your data. We do NOT use it for third-party advertising.
4. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (within the accounting-record retention rules above).

5. Cookies & analytics
We use a first-party cookie/storage to remember your cart and your consent choice — these are necessary and always on.
With your consent, we use Google Analytics (anonymous usage) and Sentry (error diagnostics). Nothing in that bucket loads until you opt in.

6. Children
The site is intended for visitors 18 and above. If you are under 18, please have a parent or guardian make purchases on your behalf.
7. Changes
If this policy changes meaningfully we will update the "Last updated" date below and, where appropriate, notify active customers by email.
