1. Who we are

Aethela is the trading name of Gaurav Shinde, a sole proprietorship, at A/502, Tulip CHS, Saibaba Nagar, Mira Road East, Thane, Maharashtra 401107, India. We design and cast limited objects in jesmonite.

2. Enquiries

A trade or commission enquiry submitted through the website is a request, not a confirmed order — we will reply to discuss your piece, pricing, and timeline.

Commission and trade terms are confirmed in writing before any work begins.

3. Purchases

All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.

Editions are limited and numbered; once an edition sells out it will not be reissued. Studio pieces are made to order, with the lead time shown on the product page.

Once payment is captured by Razorpay your order is binding, subject to the cancellation windows in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Commissioned pieces have a separate written agreement that supersedes anything here.

4. Intellectual property

All photographs, copy, video, designs, and the Aethela name and Æ mark remain our property. Personal browsing is fine; reproduction without written permission is not.

5. The nature of the work

Each piece is hand-cast. Minor variations in colour, surface, and finish are inherent to the material and the process — they are the signature of a hand-made object, not a defect. We describe pieces accurately and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Thane, Maharashtra.
